About Us

 

Berrien Academy is a Public Charter School operated in partnership between the Berrien County Board of Education and the Berrien County Collabortive/Communities in Schools. The school serves a maximum of 75 students in grades 9-12 with a maximum class size of 15. It provides a non-traditional approach to learning through the use of computer software, blended learning, and hands-on lab-based learning opportunities.  Berrien Academy offers a supportive environment in which students can learn and work at their own pace with the support of certified teachers in each academic area. The school is SACS accredited and students who complete the state requirements receive a high school diploma.
